We are looking for talented students holding a master's degree (or an equivalent university degree, e.g. German "Diplom") in physics, chemistry, mathematics or computer science, with interests in studying atomic, molecular or condensed-matter phenomena or materials science. Participants will be selected on a competitive basis. The successful candidates will receive a contract that fully covers living expenses. The thesis work, which must be completed in about three years, will be complemented by a training programme. The PhD degree will be conferred by the Technische Universität Dresden or by the home university of the student. In order to apply for the program, please follow our application procedure.
